RECESSH.

Leaving layoff land Michigan and being in New York has alleviated me from some of the sad recession talk. Constantly being surrounded by other girls at school willing to drop $500 on a purse without shame, and tourists ready to spend cash in the "city of dreams" leaves me a lil caught up in economic bliss. STILL, no one can escape hearing about recession talk. Its everywhere!...swiffer commercials...seriously how frugal can we get? I will not lie, when i see these commercials i always secretly think in my head "dont people have credit cards?". Then i remember, not everyone in the world can be a top candidate for shopaholics anonymous like me.
Down to the point... If you are broke, as most of us are... I cannot emphasize enough how much accessories can do for an outfit. A cheap outfit can easily look glam with the right accessories, but with cheapie shoes and too much bad jewelry its easy to see your personal budget when you walk out the door.
Nice accessories can be in any price range and any size.
Right now I am very into small accessories, and some statement pieces. Small accessories can be sexy, small bands on ur fingers, playful bracelets, dainty necklaces...sexy!
And also lux looking accessories with jewels, sequins, and shine look so retro n glam!

Love the beading on this. Totally worth the $24 @ Urban Outfitters. It is unique and reminds me of retro 20's flappers.

Worth the pain of purchase. Yes this bag is expensive, but once i thought about all the canal street bags ive had bust open and break in the middle of the road, i decided a leather bag wouldnt be a bad investment.
