I NO LONGER FEAR...

The sight of spring colors in retail stores is usually enough to make me lose my lunch. The light shades of yellows, blues and pinks wrapped up in floral patterns always puts a frown on my face...good bye black, midnight blue and plum, see you next fall.
My second fashion fear has always been the return of the 90's. When I think of the 90's I imagine my horrible 2nd grade school outfits of light colored denim and tacky, outrageous, heavy patterns.
My first week in New York I visited one of the many 3 story H&M's and was automaticlly in awe when I rode the escalator downstairs. There lyed a whole collection dedicated to 90's influenced pastel spring attire.
Funny thing is...It was amazing.
I then started to think that fashion in the 90's was so much more than Stephanie Tanner on Full House!... and pastels included some of the most brilliant neutrals of color!
In H&M I saw denim in the shade of Tiffany's box blue, Robins egg colored chiffon, the palest of pinks, and very light, dusty charcoal.
I love this. This spring I am more than excited to wear some of these very pale pastels, and light colored denim.
...even pale blue denim mini skirts you never thought youd see in style, keds, pink button ups tucked in with wicker belts in ur jean loops...as usual anything goes!
